Who Is Lola?

From a Paint-Your-Own Pottery Studio to True Art Experience

Lola's Art Experience began with two sisters needed a name for the shop...since they are both avid animal lovers, they decided on the family's 5 pound poodle Lola. Lola the dog has inspired them both to be creative and have fun. Our mascot does stop in from time to time so come on in and see if she is there.

From an expanded range of bisque and fun new products to paint to classes and special events, we're working hard to give you as many options as possible to express your creativity. We're offering ceramics, watercolor, and acrylic classes for kids and adults, and partnering with local businesses to hold special events (like wine tastings while you paint!). The studio itself has a bright, creative look - which features a mural by a local artist.

Our artists-in-residence are now available to commission custom pieces.

How Does It Work?

You never need an appointment to come in and paint!

Simply drop by - we recommend planning on spending an average of two hours - and pick what you'd like to paint, whether it's canvas or ceramics. The price on the piece is all you pay; there's no charge for the paint, the time you spend with us, or, for ceramics, glazing and firing.

Canvas pieces may be taken home as soon as you're finished making them awesome.

Ceramics require approximately 7 days to glaze and fire. Leave your painted piece with us and we'll take care of ensuring that your piece is carefully coated with a non-toxic, food-safe, clear glaze before firing it in our kiln - we'll call you as soon as it's done, and you can come pick it up at your convenience.

Need advice on a project? An artist-in-residence is always available ​to consult with you for free. We're also building a library of instructional books for you to peruse​ and draw inspiration from.
